calzone and salsa
your flat always makes me feel so cozy.
this place is cozy because of YOU all, thanks. i believe every étranger knows what brings their soul into the ground of a strange foreign land-the genuine connection between individuals, humanity in the real. (than in fake theologians' "reasoning")
Smoke Stack
the thing about sunshine is: it's always better sitting in looking at it than chilling out in it. as Prosper Mérimée wisely stated, that every goodness comes with two frauds, which emphasis the existence of beauty.
Smock Stack, five min away from where i live in the burgh. (so many cool places to discover in Broughton Street!). it's simple, interesting, straightforward and full of life. birds of paradise blossoming by the window, introducing the sunshine into this red passionland.
coffee liquer, and i should start my report about spiritualities in life due on Monday....
sympathy for mr. vengeance
較之 old boy, 喜歡sympathy for mr. vengeance 多一點罷。

guilded season
auntumn in edinburgh can be beautiful - clear blue sky (when it is not raining, which is rare, but anyway) reflects those golden leaves, on trees or falling down.
walking in shadows and sunshine.
fresh children crash those dead leaves - everything seems cheerful and peaceful, however guildedly instead of goldenly bright.

structuralist
simple colour games. in a sense we are all structuralists, embodify the world to live up to it.

dear...i don't give a damn.
prawn masala and other dishes
polenta with salmon omlette - perfect for a night menu
prawn masala was a brave test, turned out to be yum!
a creative dish - boil fungus till they are getting soft, fry with red pepper or chili to add some flavour; fry aubergine and mushrooms with blackbean sauce, salt etc. use brown sugar and coconut powder to cook the rice, and decorate with banana slices.

About the Performance
Sweeping, panoramic performance
Diaspora is a sweeping, panoramic performance exploring memory, migration, assimilation and the triumph of the human spirit. Ong Keng Sen's visionary production is an intricate layering of music, video and live story-telling.
Notions of home
Keng Sen and a group of video artists have searched for real-life stories of diaspora and displacement. Through the personal stories of Vietnamese Americans, Indonesian Chinese, Indians in South East Asia, Orang Laut (or sea nomads) and Scottish Muslims, Keng Sen explores notions of home, identity and the dispersion of peoples through war, through birth and through choice.
2000 years of Chinese music
This epic panorama of image and sound is underscored by a timeline of Chinese music spanning 2000 years, ranging from mountain songs to contemporary compositions, performed live by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.
'Ong Keng Sen is one of Singapore's cultural jewels.' The Guardian
Ong Keng Sen is Leverhulme Artist in Residence at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University of Edinburgh.

i spend my life time going back home.
說到這裡為了鼓舞人心 就又自我開涮逗人樂:there's such a zeno’s paradox here, can u see the link between two great civilisations, the greek and the chinese? can u? can u? er??

Italian Seafood Gumbo

Yeah, I know this doesn't make sense..."Italian Seafood Gumbo". Sure, gumbo is Cajun cooking; rich, sensual, spicy. But if you want the sensual seafood goodness of gumbo, but want something lighter, less spicy...a little less "full on", then try this.
Essentially a veggie/shrimp soup base, with shrimp, crab stick (a shortcut, I know), some pasta of your choice (durum macaroni in this one), plus potatoes and carrots, with rosemary, thyme, shallots, and red onion added when it feels right. Just let it boil and when the potatoes start to break up a bit you can start serving.
A crazy combo, I know, but I've never liked identity politics anyway...
